Dr. Daniel Midkiff is a Virginia native from the Eastern Shore where he was an avid soccer player and won the State Single A Championships his senior year as a captain of his high school team. He attended James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA to receive his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology (Exercise Science) in 2007, where he served as Vice President of the Pre-Physical Therapy Society. He then received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2010 from the University of St. Augustine in Florida.
Daniel has returned to Virginia after spending several years of traveling the country working in multiple physical therapy clinics, and attaining valuable experience treating neurologic and orthopedic patients. He has strong manual skills from his graduate studies and has a passion treating the spine and the extremities in orthopedics/sports medicine physical therapy. He is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Virginia Physical Therapy Association, and stays involved in the research and enhancement of his profession. He currently is pursuing advanced certification in Dry Needling to improve his ability to treat myofascial trigger points. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two dogs, skiing, running, mountain biking, and playing soccer.
